I was born in England but have lived most of my adult life in California. After a career in nursing, I am now focused on creative writing, and my work has appeared in journals such as The Forge Literary Magazine, Persimmon Tree, The Copperfield Review, Blood and Thunder, and Stoneboat. My debut novel, “When It’s Over” (She Writes Press, 2017), set in Europe during WWII, won six Finalist Awards, including the 2018 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Silver Medal for Historical Fiction. I have completed a second novel set in contemporary California.
