When I was growing up, I read every dog or horse book I could get my hands on. I loved reading so much that I dreamed of being an author and wrote my first book at age 10. I was lucky enough to grow up on a farm in rural Nebraska, then spent 30 years in wonderful Wyoming before moving to the Southwest. I now live in Albuquerque, hiking the foothills often while I dream up my next story.
