Eilidh was born and brought up in the Highlands of Scotland. She studied law at Aberdeen University and practiced as a lawyer specializing latterly in criminal defence. Then she moved to South-west France where she now lives and writes historical fiction. Eilidh has always been fascinated by history and particularly the lives of seemingly ordinary people who achieve extra-ordinary things.
