Robert Wigley backs young entrepreneurs in cutting-edge technology businesses and is the Chairman of UK Finance. He spent a career in banking, latterly as EMEA Chairman of Merrill Lynch and on the board of the Bank of England. He is Visiting Fellow of Oxford University, an Honorary Fellow at Cambridge University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland. He has authored numerous reports for Governments including Chairing the UK's Green Investment Bank Commission and sits on the UK's Economic Crime Strategic Board.
